"Loads of Links":

Walks and The Natural World

Burghead is dominated by the Sea which surrounds it. The Sea is no threat to the village as it is protected naturally by its height above the sea, even at high water springs.

In the locality of Moray, there are three rivers the Spey, the lossie and the Findhorn. These provide year-round natural beauty for the artist, walker and river fisherman.

Walks both formal and informal make exploring the region pleasurable, if you are so inclided. The Speyside Way is close by and serviced by local bus services.

For planning see local OS Explorer and Undiscovered Scotland North Central and Aberdeenshire
