Birds:

Sea birds are at home in Burghead where beach, rocky shoreline and the small fishing fleet provide for them Gannet, Cormorant, Shag. All varieties of Gulls, including the "Doctor Gow", the Great Black Backed Gull. whose back wings and back, at rest, resenble the frock/morning coat of the Victorian Doctor . So say the fishermen.
